Me time
In this crazy busy world, are you taking time out for yourself?
Do you keep telling yourself that you will relax once you get a particular job done? And then run after another deadline?
That’s the story of many professionals today. We think that breaks or picnics should be far and few. We work so much on weekdays that weekends are spent sleeping. We punish our bodies and minds to become good professionals.
Stop. Take a pause. Look at your life. Are you giving yourself at least 15 minutes everyday for relaxation?
It is called ‘Me time’. Everyday reserve a time slot for relaxation. Tell your family not to disturb you during this slot. Be alone. Spend time doing your favorite thing. It may be reading a book or listening to something or watching nature videos etc. Relax. Breathe.
Don’t relax only on weekends.
